They need to update the description and throw the PvE/PvP split switch. It still functions correctly between the two, ie: it doesn't end on attack in PvE.

About the monks, I've had some mo/? do fine w/o stances xP Just have to have fast enough reflexes. Unless theres 2,3 sins on you then yea, you're screwed.

They've effective removed a whole functionality from what Read the Wind used to be. I hope they reconsider and give back some benefit in return or give back damage in attribute terms 1...10.
As the other users have said, it has no use now, better opt for Distracting Blow.
Very much dislike this change, 15 sec recharge is over kill, 8-12 sec would be more adequate for this elite. Looks like will have to go back to Warrior's Endurance now.

Stop being retarded. Were you complaining when no one was using dblow because of the dstrike power creep? When skills are pretty similar, one will almost always be unused unless you're going for the niche benefit.

Already switched to it... Though tbh it is only marginally better.
Oh and whats with tactic stances nerfs?? Didn't get enough brain power to make them less appealing to casters and more appealing to warrior, so just kill them completely?
Oh and Primal Rage? It needs cancel stance anyway... So how is frenzy + rush not just flat out better now? Maybe if they removed double damage, it wouldn't be so worthless...

and no, i wasn't complaining with dstrike first appeared. i thought of it as a pretty decent all-purpose interrupt and damage compressor in a pinch. now it is strictly inferior in every aspect to dblow.
the only "niche benefit" that can be said, is if dstrike is also given a 10 second recharge. or, if it is also given the adjacent interrupt at 15 second recharge.

1. A fix for the RoJ AI was desperately needed, and didn't come.
2. Ether Feast and HealSig buffs were not thought-through for PvE. These are very common monster heals, and they are going to make certain mobs much harder and significantly mess with time-pressure quest/missions that feature a large number of monsters with these skills.
3. Stance nerfs suck. Defensive stances already had their durations ruined for general-purpose PvE play awhile back. This hurts farm builds and the few people who were still using stances generally.
4. Flail nerf. Not that anyone uses tactics anymore anyway, but this just goes further to discourage us from doing it. Since flail isn't worth beans at ~8 spec now, it's Drunken Master, Frenzy, or keep the same-old-same 14 mastery, 13 strength attribute split. Gee, wonder what people are going to do?
5. Distracting strike is now unequivocally inferior to distracting blow. Oops.
6. Aura of Resto Buff. Like my ER healer needed even more energy? I guess I'd better not look a gift horse in the mouth, so THANKS!
All in all, not an updated loaded with the kinda mind-numbingly awful over-nerfs we've come to expect from Izzy, but not a very good update either.

Y'know, it seems that the reason Tactics has been taking hit after hit is because of abuse through secondaries. Why not do the same things as done with certain Assassin skills and the such by adding "Non-Warrior skills disabled for x seconds" or something?

i'm not even aware of any warriors using those defensive stances. in the era of invincible assassins in pve, stance warriors are simply not needed.
well actually, i saw a PR warrior who used bonnetti's defense as his cancel stance in AB. too bad for him, he couldn't get the 8 adrenaline needed to use it, and got stuck in PR while i was ganking him.

I'm not sure I follow your reasoning. Smiting monks are now finally viable in areas of HM without undead and are even competitive with builds like Sabway and Discordway. It desperately needs to be nerfed so smiters go back to the status of a standing joke? I don't think they need to take the nerf bat to RoJ until they're prepared to fix a lot of other skills to keep the smiting option in play in the PvE meta.

I just did a HM VQ of Morostav, and they didn't seem too bad, even for Sunreach. I had your thought in mind though when I read the update.

5e spells are now FREE on a 14 ES spec.....AND the caster gains 62hp (minimum) per cast! Ether Renewal Ele healers are now DEFINITIVELY superior to Soul Reaping healers.
I sense a PvE meta shift....
